I’ve been on a journey for the last 7 years to be as healthy as possible. My definition of “healthy” has drastically changed over the years. I used to think being healthy just meant having big biceps and six-pack abs. After changing my lifestyle, I realized it was so much more:
-Energy
-Mental health
-Immunity
-Gut health
-Sexual health
-Skin/hair health
-Spirituality
-Mindfulness
Just to list a few!
My other big shift in thinking was what eating healthy meant. I used to think it just meant eating bland chicken, brown rice, and spinach. After years of eating like this, I realized that, by making simple adjustments to the ingredients, healthy eating can and SHOULD be enjoyable.
